Linking Up Your Web Page To The Server
Once you have a final product of a web page, you will need to know how to load it onto the school server.
This process is called FTP (File Transfer Protocal). A software program called Fetch is used to transfer your files up onto the web.

1. Save all files in one folder. This includes page templates, backgrounds, and images.
2. Make sure that you save each file name in lower case letters with underscore line instead of spaces between each word. example(my_homepage_rm_7.html)

3. Make sure you have a back up copy of all of your saved files, just in case!

4. Copy your Web Page folder and drop in the storage folder you have on the Room 7 server.

5. Email Jen or Randy and let them know you are ready to upload. They will assist you in the process and walk you through the steps to successfully get your pages onto the web.
